| River Savinja is a typical alpine river. The average depth varies between 0.5 and 1.5 m, except in pools and under dams, where it reaches greater depths. The bottom is mostly of limestone gravel and marl. The average flow in May is 10 m3 / s, the average water temperature is 7 dg. C. Fishing rules Fishing on brown trout, rainbow trout and grayling is allowed between 1. March and 30. November. All kinds of flies (dry fly, nymph, streamers) are allowed. Fishing is carried out with a flyfishing or spining rod and one lure. Use of barbles hooks is desirable. Legal length is 90 cm. Fishing for guests is allowed with daily licence.
